Please use caution when using these contractors for window replacement! I feel that I have been ripped off and their ethics are questionable!
Bak in October, I ordered windows, and gave a down payment to hold the window price. The install was to take place late in January as I did not have all the funds available. At the end of January the sale person called me and basically indicated that I was not serious about the installation since he'd not head from me. I told him that I was still anticipating the install but had been terribly ill with the Swine Flu that had me down for a good two months. He insisted that if I want to keep my price, he needed to come and get more money from me that evening... Not... That he has going to order the windows but beacuse he needed a certain amount of money to get the price points necessary... in other words to apply my money for someone else's windows... I should have smelled a rat, but... He came and I gave him additional money to add to the down payment, showing my good faith. The most unbelievable thing about that evening is that he asked me for cash on top of the deposit for gas money! I was stunned and knew at that point that I had been taken.
When I had a serious set back in my life and told him that I could not install the original number of windows, I asked that he provide windows for the monies I'd already paid. You know the answer to that... No refund, no windows, and I'd just been ripped off. Remember he never ordered my windows, actually never did anything for me other than take my money including gas money and put it in his pocket... No. Nothing in the invoice stating non-refundable, nothing...
Please be very careful of this company they are not customer service oriented and their ethics are highly questionable. Charles is the only guy I ever dealt with, but he's a good sales guy and actually a very good crook. I need to spread the word so someone else doesn't get ripped off like I did...
