Complaint / Review
National City Bank
PNC, Mid America Tomorrow. Will ruin my credit, i'm 16 years old, and i feel they did little work to help.internet

I'm 16 years old, and on 12/22, i got my debt card stolen by the man sitting down from me in the movie theater near my house. It was some teenager, i didn't know him, they didn't like us, but i took out my card as i was about to stand up and get food, but decided not to, and ended up dropping it in the theater, and never saw it again, the people at the theater did nothing but take me back to search for it only to find it missing. This was right before Christmas, and i had a balance of 370.25

370.25 balance and i had enough to let the pending charges from all my snacking habits to be charged, no worries. My phone had been dead and i was unable to get through to national city card services until the morning. They finally canceled it and since i had to do my Christmas shopping i told the lady that ill have my sister cash the check for me after i wrote it since i wont have any access to my money for a while, then i asked her about going into overdraft if the person spent any money with my card, and she then told me to let the fees go up, and they will refund them when they confirm they were fraudulent charges. I just thought she knew what she was talking about.

It turns out, yes they spent money that evening with my card at my favorite restaurant which happens to be directly next to the movie theater (where i was planning on going to after the movie was over) until i realized my card was missing.

On the 23rd, it finally posted a charge saying there was $33 spent at a local speedway near me, and that sent me $33 into overdraft, and then there was another charge of
$19.31 and $4.51 spent at a gas station i someplace i have no idea where it is, and the 4.51 was from a the Wendeys near my house, but i did not go there. I had a feeling it could have just been posted, but i was doubting it. After that there was one more charge for $20 that was mine, but just posted at the moment, then the rest were overdrafts from being in negative. I had about $450 in neg. Balance because of the overdraft fees due to the charges i never made.

After that, i then phoned the bank and asked what to do, the lady told me to file "un-authorized charge" disputes through a form online, but they seemed like they did not ask for enough information. After that i wanted a LONG time, and messaged them a few times in between those 15-23 days it took for them to respond to me, and when they finally responded, they sent me a template letter in the mail, saying that i did not provide enough information and to call a number, when i called the number, they told me to visit a branch and fill out "epidavids"? (Not sure how to say it) and i did that, and today, the helpful lady who did all she could to help me called me and said that my account will be closed at the end of today and that i either deposited the $450x amount and keep the account, or they will close it and report me.
And between being told that i have those two choices, they also told me, that loss prevention had done all they can and determined that "you have spent money at those locations before, and its a coincidence that you spent small amounts as the fraudulent charges were as well." She pretty much made me feel like they just looked at all of my charges... Sorted by place where it was spent and assumed that since i had spent money there before (wendeys restaurant.?) (i do not have a car, i don't go to gas stations... Or charge things there) that those were not fraudulent charges, i called loss of prevention and they transfered me to a number, and it said we are not open right now.

I really do not know what to do, they really don't do anything it seems like, they did not tell me a reason for why they believe it was me who spent money at gas stations including one where i do not even live. Help me! I'm willing to provide all information i can!
