My name is takemeoffyoursuckerlist!!! (Not my real name of course!) I'm afraid of using my real name. Once you read my story you'll know why.
My husband this past June started sending money to sweepstake reporting mailings. The problem got so bad he started hiding his check book from me because he knew I didn't approve. I tried in vain to show him that these were scams by showing him internet reports on theses scams and by the mailings themselves. Alot of the return envelopes had the same P.O. Box nos. Even though they tried to make it look like a different sweepstakes and/or reporting firms.
They want anywhere from $14.95 to $29.95 to be entered into these so called contests and/or reports. Most of the mailing are from Las Vegas, Kansas, Florida and New York State. For the past 8 months I would say that he's gotten at least six mailings per-day and a few times he has gotten up to twenty five in one day and just around Halloween he got FORTY in one day delivered to our mailbox.
