Two nights ago I was disrupted by a knock on my door, from a young guy about 25 (Scott Wilkenson, from Arizona) who said he was out meeting the neighbors. I thought he had just moved in next door or something...
He than proceeded to tell me he was competing with a group from his agency for a trip to cancun and only needed 2 more orders. He was very pushy, but I at least said I could only do one. He seemed nervous, and full of himself.
He said he was from Arizona and did a lot of drugs in college, which explained his lack of focus he was complaining of. I just wanted to get rid of him and was not strong enough to say no at the time. Plus, I felt like i might be helping him.
Needless to say, I was sick after spending 50.00 on a subscription for architectural digest.
I put a stop payment on the check first thing the next morning, and looked up this web sight at work. I felt sick and violated.
I can't believe that someone like me fell for such a horrible scam. I really hope that this consumer complaints can give me some idea how to get this "company" shut down.
I can't believe that this kind of thing just goes on.
