Beware of this company and these people! They have stolen THOUSANDS of $ from people and continue to do so to this day! We came to them over a year ago with a promise of getting our Home Loan Modified... With the way the Economy was going (and is now) it was Gold to our ears! Till we gave them the check of over $4500. After that it was Silence!
We waited and waited and waited for their call... Nothing. We called and were informed that they needed more info, we in turn provided it. Again no return phone call as promised. So we called again, they wanted more info, so again we gave it... This continued action lasted about 4months. All long every step they would say "oh with this it'll get done, it'll get done". All of this from TODD Bierman and Secretary (s). We became so infurated that we threatend a possible Law Suit. That put fire in his Butt! He said he would make the phone call to that Bank while I'll I was on the Phone with him. (this was in Aug '09).. Well without my knowledge that what he was about to ask me was ILLEGAL... He asked me if he can pretend that he is me so that he can gain access to account when he speaks to the Bank about the Loan Modify. Wellllllllll when he got in touch with them he was such an idiot over the phone! He claimed that he (i) was not explained correctly about how the loan worked and that Im looking for a Loan Adjustment... Well the Bank said some things and asked "well why was it not, etc etc" and of course they tried to say "well we cant do this because of this this and this..." TODD then replied welllll Ive been in the Financial Business for x amount of years and so on and so forth... The Bank guy grew silent and then asked..."if you are in this for years then you are well aware of what all loans consist of." Todd didnt know what to say and began insulting the man. Then asking him for his ID# and so on... The man hung up the phone on us! I was shocked! I thought to myself, this man (Todd) is Crazy and I could had dont this myself! Why am I paying him a dime???
Todd continued to ask for info again and again from me... insuring that that what was needed so that we can have all avenues covered. He promised he'd call me back. Welllll I had such a Headache from dealing with this idiot I needed a break. As well as my time got super busy with the kids and birthdays and events that I didnt contact them again till NOV. Hoping ofcourse that there was some sort of News.
NOV'09 (exactly 1 year since I signed up) -Todd answered and says "Oh I left the Company". I got nervous with news. He informed me that him and his Business Partner David Masten had a falling out. So i asked him "well then who is doing my Modification? Where is my file with allllll of my Info?" thankfully it was still in the office. However, Todd offered to continue the work if I wanted. Welllll he had done enough that I was like "Yea Right, I dont think so!" So I went right to the OptiScore Office to get to the bottom of it! On the way there I made a call to another person who had recruited some clients for them at one point, he informed me that OptiScore never paid him and that he has recieved numorouse complaints like mine AND that there is a possible Law Suit against them. I had to take a BIG GULP! When I arrived at the office they were "CLOSING SHOP".
The office that used to be bustling with people before was now stacked up tables and shares, telephones ripped out of the walls etc etc. I spoke to the Seceratry, told he I want my File! And that I want my $ or I will take them to court. At this point come some man in the back of the room... David Matson. He begins to tell me about Todd about how he has done bad business, how he never delivered to the customers and was rude to banks bla bla bla bla... David now turns to me and said "give us some time to review ur file and we will see what we can do for you. We want to please our customers that we have left and regain the business that Todd ruined, etc etc." But I needed some reassurance. He turned and said to me and promised that if he cant get it done in anyway he will reimpburse me my full amount, and Even if he Does get it adjusted he will return a portion of my money because of all the trouble! Wowww great! And there was a witness in the room with us Jason Martin (who sems like a pretty honest guy upfront, i soon find that he isn't) So I gave him the Benefit of the doubt. Besides, he looked sickly and overly stressed so it all played on my sensitvity. I gave them time.
Fast Forward to the Present Day - Holidays came and went. So did New Years. No word. Finally I called Jason who seemed pleased to hear from me and informed that they have a New office and said he would have David call me for an appointment so that we can get the ball rolling again... Great, right? Ha! David did call and said he was on the road so he will call me the next day when he can pull my file and see what he can do... (hmmm. Again no work?). 3 days came and went and no David. Then i get a "text" from him that he will call in the afternoon. 3 more days came and went. Now they dont even answer my calls. I leave messages and nothing. I decided to Google him to maybe get the new address of the office and instead I see the complaint posted here at usacomplaints.com.Com and also Complaints.com, as well as My3Cents.com. So here we are! In my search I also found an address in 45 River Dr. Jersey City... Thinking i found the New office, and furious for about the way I've been treated, I went straight there after work. To my surprise, the front desk manager informs me that he gets about 15 people a day searching for David Matson and Todd Beirman.including the building owner who they owe about $60,000 in rent. Aparently David and Todd would pay rent every 6 to 9months and eventually "Closed Shop" skipping out on the rent. Oh and one more set of people are searching for David, Child Sevices...! The guy is even skipping out on his kid! So if you ever come across with a Todd Beirman, or David Matson and Jason Martin... RUNNNNNN! Do Not give them $!! And if you already are dealing with them Contact me here... Im bringing together their former clients who have been wronged and have lost $, to file a joint Law Suit against these Thieves and Liars! In these horrible financial times these people are taking advantage of everyone elses hard work. These people should not be operating any kind of business! Lets get them off the streets!
