As with a lot of people now, I am currently unemployed. It is hard enough as it is, but people like this make it even worse.
There was a posting on Craigslist for a job as an Executive Assistant.

I e-mailed my resume to the e-mail address provided, and received a very generic e-mail back. It included a link to the website: http://ijlproperty.com/application / and given a "pin number" to enter in. This is a common scam, I found out, after googling about it. The first thing that tips you off is that it has questions on the "interview" that they shouldn't be asking (i.E. Are you conservative, moderate, or liberal...). The next thing that is completely full of red flags is that they ask you to get a credit report. There is no reason that any employer should ever ask you to get a credit report.
This is a way that people get your information and steal your identity!!!
I googled this "company" and nothing came up.
So, beware and BE CAREFUL when applying for jobs!!!
