My interest rate on my Sears credit card went from 5.99 to 25.24%. When I called and asked why they said they sent an insert (which I never read) in my bill telling me I could contact them and opt out of the increase, or... Not do anything and have the increase. The lady tried to blame it on the economy. I was raised shopping at Sears. I will never spend another cent there.
