You do/have ripped homeowners off. You have not correctly & honestly 'identified-diagnosed' their actual-problems, nor do most if not all Inside System companies, which you are. Hey man, ANY of you Inside System owners/salespeople who do not bother to find/locate and then correctly fix/waterproof homeowners problems are incompetent, negligent.
And when you use False Claims, misinformation and misrepresent a homeowners real-problem... Where they actual leak/get water in, then that is fraud, yes indeedy.
Most homeowners problems are 1 or more of the following, meaning... Why-where they get water on floor, usually at-along floor-wall joint, also called the cove, cold joint...
1) exterior cracks and-or cracked-deteriorated parging in block and brick basement walls and sometimes where service lines enter/pass through walls. These can ONLY be repaired/waterproofed on the outside.
If you don`t know this your incompetent. If you do know this and instead sell/install an inside system and use false claims, misrepresentations etc then your a fraud.
2) exterior openings/gaps/crevices above-ground level, some include openings in-around-under basement windows, doors (concrete ledges), flashings, open mortar joints between bricks, hairline cracks in bricks/blocks above grade and so on.
3) possible blockage in lateral line (snake or replace), possible problem with city pipe (s)... Dripping/leaky/busted city pipe, an existing sump pump may need adjustment or replacement, leaky water line etc can cause an accumulation of water UNDER the floor which can then rise UP through any opening/gap/crack in floor. Tile (s) that empty into the sump-pit may need to be snaked or may need to create opening (s) up high in pit-wall.
You don`t first 'determine-identify' homeowners problems and don`t fix/waterproof/snake/tuckpoint them.instead, inside system companies use false claims, misrepresent exterior waterproofing etc and quite a few use scare tactics. Some will tell homeowners if they sign contract now they`ll reduce cost of job, more nonsense.
Going to try and post some pic`s, you`ll see exactly what inside system companies do NOT bother to identify and do not repair/waterproof and theyare existing defects
