Twice this year, I have received bogus invoices from Career Classified Publishing in the amount of $498.88. I understand they are bogus after doing research online and seeing that other businesses have been sent the exact same invoice for the same amount with no services provided by CCP. They are clearly trying to bait companies into sending payment in for services they are not providing.
While we never sent payment because we researched it prior to sending the payment, allowing a company like this to operate is a waste of my time and my accounting departments time, as we all invested time into trying to figure out what these invoices covered. The time wasted certainly costs us money.
