I purchased a 1998 Mitsubishi Montero last year for 7995 financed. I only shopped there because they were adamant about being a Christian carlot. At any rate, I notice the Check Engine light on and the Brake Light Warning light on before I left and the Finance/Service Manager, Jerry, said that he'd have the issues fixed. I dropped the truck off for days at a time and the lights were off. However, teh lights came back on. After addressing the issues with Jerry, the saleman, and Mr. Mcclerkin, I was told that there was nothing wrong with the truck and that it was probably just bad sensors keeping the lights on. Jerry agreed to get the sensors fixed. I dropped the truck off and three days later, picked it up after I was told that the sensors were repaired. A year later, I'm ready to pay the truck off, and I took the truck to TWO different shops and was told that the motor is probably being damaged because the 02 sensors were never changed.
