I am here to warn any owner operators that may be considering MCS Trucking for employment. Do not do business with MCS Trucking. They will sell you on great benefits, great routes, etc etc etc. All lies.
They still owe me almost $5,000.00 from escrow and pay that they never paid me after i left the company. My gross was about 10k. They kept 50%. Bill Burmeister told me "The check is on the way, it takes 45 days to process checks here". I think they expect the we truckers are too busy and too dumb to figure out their game. They take advantage of their position by offering a too-good-to-be-true set-up (lots of home time! (lie) and our need to keep the wheels moving (it keeps us out of lawyer's offices and off of the internet researching our rights) and they burn through owner operators like a knife through butter.
High turnover is a big red flag. My trainer was a great guy, and a veteran who had been with the company a whole SIX months! That was my first red flag, but oh well, let's see how this goes. They proceeded to work me to the point where if I was to get everything done they wanted, I was awake and on the road about 17 hours a day. Road safety rules are a joke to them. Taking care of their drivers is a joke to them.
I am currently in the process of suing for my pay, after calls and emails go un-answered. Well, I am not an idiot, and I will make them pay for ripping me and countless other drivers off - I am about to launch about 4 websites that are totally centered around more MCS Trucking details. I have the names and numbers of about 25 drivers that are going to submit their MCS Trucking horror story. I hope the owners and managers of MCS are haunted by the fact that potential clients will google their name and see nothing but the TRUTH about the way the run their organization. It will be worth it to me, and I hope it was worth stealing 5k from me to them. Their reputation online is going to be ruined. The funny thing is, they won't be able to figure out who I am by reading this. There are too many to count.
