I placed an online order for a $544 DJ mixer from Allen & Heath through a website called DJ-Wholesale.com that is based in China. Somebody named Vjack (or Shuang Yang) responded that they had received the funds and that they would ship out the order. Unfortunately, I never received the order or tracking number from DJ-Wholesale.com despite repeated attempts to contact them. This is both illegal and unethical.
After trying to attempt to contact them multiple times over a 3 week period, I created an alias email and pretended to place a large order that included the product from my original order. DJ-Wholesale.com immediately responded to confirm they had the equipment in stock and could facilitate my order.
I have contacted Allen & Health and I am also contacting the FBI, FTC, and Department of Justice regarding this matter. They are looking into this situation.
