Ocwen never notified of non-approval of modification just foreclosed

I started loan modfications with Ocwen back in late Sept for both my first and second mortgages. I called several times after sending off modification in Oct and told my loan was in process. When you called you got into a endless phone tree loop. Once you said you loan was in modficiaton you coudln't talk to a live person. When I got someone they couldn't tell me the status.

I continued to get notifications about payments and told like others not to worry it would just take time to get all the modificaitions approved. I received a note in October asking for additional information. I did misread it at first and it did take a week longer to get them corrected information. I assumed this was for both modifications.

On November 20th I recieved a letter about modfication on my second loan and also a letter about foreclosure on my first. I called Ocwen on the next Monday. I spoke to a wonderful person. He indicated that I just needed to sign my second modification and fax and then mail. I asked about first. He read some notes and said ahh they are working on your first it will be same rate and same deal as second. Since it was the holidays give them 4-6 wks to handle everything and if I didn't hear back from them to call them again. I asked about foreclosure noticed. He said not to worry that it was typically that the paperwork would continue until the modification was done but once signed my credit would clear and I could start repayment. What a relief.

I didn't hear anything back and I made my first second mortage payment. On January 11th I started calling. I wanted to get everything handled and this off my back. They sent me to a real estate department. All I could do was leave a voice message. I did that twice in same week. I called one day a wednesday and was told their computers were down. I then received a letter on January 13th. Addressed to tenants of my house. If we were tenants we had 90 days to vacate because my house had been foreclosed on Jauary 5th. I couldn't believe it.

I never had any intention on my house going to foreclosure. I could have gotten the funds from my 401k to bring my loan current back in November. But because I was told my modification was in process I didn't.

I finally was able to speak with someone. Who is saying there is a "slim" possibility that I can still bring my loan current. It's a matter of paperwork. Then I hear that my second loan is really null and void because they had foreclosed on my first. What is going on? I am being thrown out of my house onto the street. My husband is 70 and I'm not much younger. I have a chronic disease and barely able to continue my daily chores and work.

What can I do? I would have gotten my loan current. I would have never let this happen. When they found out they didn't send my a modfication denial they sent me one the other day. Ha ha... We denied you by the way in October!

Can anyone help us? Please? I
