I moved from Ohio to California for cancer treatment and put all of my new furniture in this store, Portage Lakes Consignment, for sale. Everything was fine for a month or two, recieved all my payments, then the checks stoped comming. The owner, Tammy, came up with one excuse after another for why she could not, or would not pay. It ranged from my computer crashed to my book keeper messed up and the list goes on. The newest excuse is that i dodnt exist so the store owner, Tammy, does not have to pay me for furniture she has admited has sold. After informing her i will take her to court to recover my money, the threats started. I now have to put off chemo treatment to travel back to Ohio to take this person to court to recover my money. Dont wast your time in this store, she will rip you off, or at least try to.
