We went to the owners advocate to help me get out of my timeshare contract, since we were misrepresented at the presentation of our timeshare, we thought that it would be a good Idea to hire them to do the job. I called The Owners Advocate in march and spoke with Kate Morgan, She assured me and my wife that since we were misrepresented that it was a legitimate reason to hire them and that they would go after Abandonment Resorts and be able to get us out of our contract and maybe even our money back, since the contract was void due to false statements, and if they couldn't fulfill there job that in return we would get our money back GUARANTEED. I made the payment of $999.00 and got all there papers sent to us via Email to fill out and return them back to them so that they know how to go After BlueGreen Resorts. We even singed a Power of Attorney paper, had it Notarized and sent it back to them and that they would take it from there. (heres where the nightmare begins.) Our file was transfered to Taylor Monroe (TOA REP) who was to keep track of our case, as time went on she would email me and tell me that all was going well and that there resolution team was in the process of negotiations, during this time I stopped making payment to BlueGreen since we were in breach of contract, by law they couldn't send us to collections and they were informed through certified mail that we were in breach and had the owners advocate to deal with all our issues since they were acting on power of attorney. BlueGreen stated that they have not been contacted by The owners Advocate and that they needed to collect payment or they would send us to collections. I contacted TOA and told them about the issue with BlueGreen and they said that they (BLUEGREEN) use that tactic to collect payment, so I believed them and continued on without making payments. Then came Oct, I have not heard from TOA and I called and they said that everything was going good and that my case will be coming to a agreement soon, B. S So we waited and it's now January I called to TOA and spoke to a Shikah another one of there rep who stated that it's rare that I've been with them for almost a year and that my case had not been submitted to the resolution team for BlueGreen Resorts. All this time Taylor Monroe was blowing smoke up my you know what and lying to us that all was great. Shikah stated that she would submit my case to there resolution team and see what's going on and that she would call me back in a few weeks, lie. I waited for a few weeks and never heard from them, I called on Feb 02 and not one person would call me back, I left Emails prior to fed 02 2010 and no response, I blocked my number and what do you know, a quick response and shikah's excuse was that they were out on lunch. * (heres where Shikah showed the true colors of TOA,) I reminded shikah that i spoke to her a few weeks ago and never got a return phone call and I went on about the foreclosure letters and letters of abondonment from BlueGreen resorts, and because I was upset about the way they were lying to me Shikah decided to hang up on me and that's when I called back to TOA and spoke with Taylor Monroe and again she blew smoke up MY ass and I told her that My time share has been foreclosed and that they did not do there job at all. I also spoke to BlueGreen Resorts and they stated that not once have they been contacted by TOA or have they spoke with a resolution team about coming to a agreement with my time share. TOA robbed me out of my money and I hope that I could Find A attorney who is willing to help me get my money back from The Owners Advocate. People they are a scam do not give your money to them they are as much a scam as the time share industry. I'm telling you it has been a roller coaster with TOA they will scam you and take your money DONT TRUST TOA.
