Rob Teed - Account Coordinator for MET International
He told me: The company can help me secure some vital documents I will need to process work permit application

I thought I nearly succeeded when I applied for a job in a Canadian website. It was for an Administrative Assistant position at a certain MET International. Immediately I got a response from Rob Teed (Account Cordinator) who told me in his email that the company was in Canada and that they would like to know if I have secured my work permit before they can offer me the job. So I said I was interested but I knew I had to furnish some documents that may be required for the processing of the permit. He replied that the cmpany was willing to provide me with the vital documents such as:

1* Employment Letter

2* Sponsorship Letter

3* HRSDC file number

4* LMO (Labor Market Opinion)

5* Immigration Documents.

But there must be some kind of commitment coming from me to ascertain that I am coming to work in Canada and is not using all the documents the company will provide for me to run a scam because they have had such issues in the past.

So I replied that I was ever willing and the resume I sent them is my commitment that I have pure intentions for working for the company. Promptly he replied to my mail saying I will have to meet all the company's requirements before they can issue th documents I need to secure my work permit. Saying I would have to make a funds deposit with the company prior to issuing the documents to me which I will need to secure my work permit and upon my arrival to Canada, my money will be reimbursed back in full.

Thats when i started to think twice and opted for a research on the person & company through google to confirm if I was scammed. Then i bumped into several reports of the same person & scenario in Ripoff. I'm thankful I did the resaerch. So im sharing it now so others may learn and avoid being victimized.
