Zhu zhu pets arrived in the Charlottesville, VA store. I called my friend to tell her and she suggested calling the store to see if they would hold one. Her call was first and the girl at Customer service gladly did it. I called and she told me they were not allowed to do that and I informed her my friend had just done it and she said she did not know who did that but it was wrong. Come to find out, it was the same girl that held one for my friend.
