I agree with the reports written by Mike and Dennis. I was a Designer for Milling Away, and only worked there for about 3 months, but they managed to destroy my life and credit in that short amount of time.
After receiving 2 paychecks, they started giving everybody their paychecks late. This started to mess with my bank automatic withdraws, and I got charged several bank fees.
I have had at least 2 of their paychecks bounce on me, one of them which they never reimbursed me for. My checking account was shut down because of my "irresponsible behavior". When I approached Steve Harvey and Victoria Fair about this, they placed the blame on other companies.
I worked for another 2 weeks without getting any compensation for any of my work. When I told them I no longer wanted to work without getting paid, they tried to make me feel guilty and told me I should keep working for free and eventually they would pay me.
Steve and Victoria currently owe me around $4,000 from missed paychecks, hundreds of dollars of money I spent driving to their job sites that I was never reimbursed for, and hundreds of dollars of bank fees and charges I was given because of my bank account being shut down.
Besides losing my checking account, I also had 4 credit cards closed, I was evicted from my apartment, and I was actually denied jobs because of their bad reputation. My credit score dropped 200 points. And who knows what kind of mess I will have to go through when I try to file my taxes this year.
I definitely would like to be a part of this, and get back everything that I deserve. I would also discourage anyone from working with them or for them in the future, because they do not care about their employees, and will do anything they can do to take care of themselves.
