Hand made in the USA custom hourglasses - Sounds like a special and unique gift right? The website boasts hourglasses by run time, and even custom engraved offerings to mark a momentous occasion. T&K Young took my money and gave me nothing. They will not respond to emails, telephone, or faxes.
The last I heard from Mr. Young, the proprietor, was six weeks after my order. He pleaded that he was dealing with the health issue of a family member, but would get caught up and to please be "patient and understanding". That was September 29th. One month later an inquiry brought no response. Long story short, no response to any contact 4 months later. Note that while all this stress was taking place in his life his website continued to accept new orders. There was no notice to customers of any delays. I've called his office number daily for the past two weeks and get only his voice mail. Today, I sent a fax asking for an update or my money back.
The "custom offerings" side of his website show a job he did for the last Congress. (Maybe that's where he got the idea that it's OK to collect money and return nothing).
