The owner of Splinters Flooring, Ron, hired his workers through Craigslist to assist him in installing hardwood floors. Upon working for him for a week, he would not pay the amount owed in full. He said he needs to withhold 10 hours of pay so that the worker will return to work for him again. However, after a week, I called him to find out if there is any other job and if not, I would like to get paid for the balance. Ron claimed that he does not have any money and does not have any upcoming jobs either and refused to pay the balance of what he owed me.
This guy should be put out of business and people should never work for him. Please beware if you see his ad on Craigslist to hire helper in Northwest New Jersey.
