SMC - Specialty Merchandise Corp
SMC They lied about what I would receive with membership, they mislead and lied about the type and quality of website

1/27/09 - SMC said I'd get the website free (a $300 worth), stated there is a $29.95 regular "hosting" charge (for EMerchant to keep my e-commerce site). After I named them on March 3, I reported these were likely to consider $49.95 out-of my bank account every month for that hosting charge.

3/3/09 - Jimmy told me the coach "flip-flopped" my membership when I upgraded my website. (Note: I updated my site since SMC initially explained the big "Planet of Items" catalog could be on the site — among their many lies. The initial site just included the items within the "Massive Worth Guide" — an extremely crummy catalog with inexpensive-searching products.) That will have now been the $29.95 hosting charge, but since I have improved the web site to incorporate the entire catalog (that we thought I had been obtaining from the beginning), that might be a $49.95 hosting fee every month.

2/18/09 - SMC debited $200 from my bank account so that they might place the "Planet of Items" catalog on my site.

On March 3, I named and questioned why $39.95 had been debited from my bank account. Jimmy said it had been my regular membership price. I told him I settled the whole membership charge on Feb. 2 - it had been $414.94 ($399.95, plus $15 delivery charge for that membership package).

3/3/09 - When I originally called Jimmy to upgrade my website so the large catalogue could be accessed, he never said anything about having to "flip-flop" my membership — that they were using what I paid for a year of membership and put it toward the upgraded website. They proceeded to consider $39.95 out-of my bank account every month for that account charge I'd paid upfront.

3/3/09 - I told Jimmy I wanted to talk with my "coach" - was told he would call me on Wedn. 3/4/09 at 3:30 mst, but trainer never named. I named the assistant (Joe) and stated I had been placed on the incorrect diary. Phone was rescheduled for 3/5/09 at4:30 pm.

3/5/09 - The coach said the $200 debited on 2/18/09 was applied toward my membership price. I told him I had been unhappy using the proven fact that people might just buy products on the site when they received a giftcard. I stated thatis not what was offered in my experience after I registered. I also informed him I had been unhappy using the proven fact that, in the beginning, SMC brought me to think the big "Planet of Items" cataloge could be on my website - they didn't note the measly "Massive Worth Guide" just being on the site.

Closing note: Following A month choose to go by, and that I understood I did not like almost all their lies, it had been too late to stop my account. I've not created a penny with SMC.

If there's a-class-action suit currently available, or if any lawyer will provide one about, please include me. I possibly haven't been keeping up late enought or SMC has had their infommercials off Television. Nevertheless, I Would sure prefer to recover all or section of my income.

Good luch to all you who have been cheated by SMC!
