They mailed me a pre approved loan refinance letter. I called them and was put with Toni Bertello to do my paper work. She right away said I needed a Appraisel on the house, so I used their guy Larry Fogg and got one. Weeks went buy and no call from her and she wasn't returning my calls. Suddenly one afternoon she called and said they lost their backer for loans on modular homes. She put me with another lender called Buckhead home loans, so I did paperwork with them. I was told by them iI didn't even need a Appraisel because I was doing a stream line loan. After several weeks he stopped calling and returning my calls.By this time I was out 300.00 for appraisel and livid. I called Nationwide back and spoke to Toni's manager John West, explained what happened and he fired her. He puts me with another lady Alex Spollen. We go through all the paper work again. At last they tell me the full loan amount has to be insured by my homeowners policy or they won't refinance. So here it is 8 months later, I'm out 300.00, there was no refinance done. I called John to ask for my money back for the appraisel and was told they used a lot of time trying to get the financing done and they didn't owe me this money. I feel like I was wronged by this company and the least they should do is give back the money for the appraisel I didn't need in the first place.
