Uxx, FxxxX, and any other shipping company are the ones to use!
Estes Freight is a joke! This company picks up pallets of parts from our company, drives them halfway across the US then leaves the pallets sitting on their dock for no apparent reason, other than the fact that they couldn't follow the simplest of instructions and deliver before the end of the business day!
Here is where it gets better, I call them to verify delivery and I am told that it hasn't been delivered, and if I want it to be delivered the price is higher than originally quoted! I told them to piss off, but was given the ultimatum of them not delivering my pallets, or me paying more. Obviously I had no choice.
Then when finishing the second part of this trip they do almost the same thing! Promise me that the shipment will be delivered on one day, then call me that day and say it is sitting on the dock they will deliver it in a day or two! What the hell is going on here? I look like a complete schmuck to my customer now!
AVOID ESTES FREIGHT!!! Pay more if you must, but avoid these people, they are crooks!
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
