In December I received an offer from Quest Communications for a package deal, telephone service, wireless phone service and High-Speed Internet. The agreement was for the service to begin on 1-4 with the wireless service being provided by Verizon. I was gone for the rest of December and when I arrived home on January 3rd, I was confronted by my current cell phone carrier, UNICEL, with having to pay a $200 penalty for early termination of their contract. The next morning I contacted Qwest and cancelled my order for the package deal which included wireless services to be provided by Verizon. The following morning, January 5th, I mailed the Verizon telephone and all their equipment back to them at the address from which it was sent: 4320 North Sylvania Avenue, Dallas, TX 76137. Now I am being bombarded with telephone calls claiming they never received the phone and they continue to bill me for services never activted and never received. This is outrageous and I question the practices of this company. I am going to go to The Legal Aid services here in Duluth and see if I can get these people off my back!
