Web site disclosure re: bread maker availability

I ordered a bread maker on Jan. 16. The Homebrand.com web site stated items shipped usually in 2 to 3 days. See web site: http://www.ikitchen.com/zohobasubb.htmlI waited a few days to check on status and was told my the "Manager, Michele Adams" that the breadmaker was backordered. When I asked for the approximate time period when it would be available, Michele said she didn't know. I asked if she inquired with the manager of the distributer and she repeated, "All I can tell you is that it isn't in stock." She refused to tell me who her supervisor was, or what government agency I could register a complaint on the grounds that their web site is misleading. Had I not followed up with a telephone call, I could have wasted weeks or more.

My complaint is that this is misleading and false advertising, not to mention the difficulty of reaching a live person to complain.

Look at the list of complaints against this company:

When I asked which government agency I could register a complaint, Michele Adams refused to provide one and told me she was cancelling my order (No. 553273).
