These people are LIARS. Dont not buy from them. They are truly very good at this. They will make you believe what they are saying. The TOTALLY lie about the horses. They are NOT at all "as advertised" I drove 6 hours to look at a horse and it was not 15 hands as said barely 14 hds and it had Strangles, still oozing from him! It was very spooky when we got there to see him, she did video of him before we came that far and he was calm as ever! Go figure.
The lady at the other barn is just as good. The 2 managers say they do not get along. These guys are GOOD! My husband was with me and he even got sucked in. I ended up buying a horse from the akidhorse.com manager, (YES I should have walked away after the first one that came up from New Caney) BUT these guys are smooth talkers. Told us how they run an honest barn and Lisa had tried to scam us, ect.
SO... I buy a horse they have advertised as an 8 yr old. I ALWAYS have a vet check done before I buy a horse, BUT... This time, I was tired and frustrated, had a 6 hour drive ahead, they told me the vet was far away and it would be tomorrow before we could get in... They PROMISED me he was everything they said he was,
So much so... She would drive ALL the way to where I live to pick up the horse if we were not 100%. Im telling you DONT go, these guys could sell an air-conditioner to an Eskimo. Im sure if you go there they will have a great story to tell you and say Im lying BUT I AM NOT. Ive bought many horses and had great experiences, I let my guard down with these guys and I am paying for it now! Got a 20 yr old horse I cant sell now.
These horses are advertised as Kids horses from these sites.interesting thing, the gals at the akidhorse.com talk about how the other manager from texashorse.org is scamming and lieing to people about the horses and they know it, but yet they are not doing anything about it... They claim to LOVE horses and want people to be treated honestly when buying a horse. But admit they know whats going on in the New Caney/texashorse.org facility. I was told Lisa no longer works there she was fired because of her practices, LOL what ever.
You can google the name Robbie Jones horse trader amnestyhorserescue.org click on news and their are reports about him. Sure wish I had seen the report before I went to do business with these people. If you now how to get blogs built and spread the word about these people please do! Band together as honest horse people and put these scammers out of business!
