General Car accepted my down payment on a 2010 Mercedes E350 on 10/13. The vehicle was in transit from Germany with an estimated delivery date of 10/23. When the vehicle didn't arrive, they made countless excuses citing circumstances beyond they're control.
Then I was told that I would have to pay more than the agreed amount for immediate delivery. I've asked many times to speak with the person with whom I originally dealt. I asked via email whether or not I would have to come in person to speak with the person with whom I originally I dealt with. Below is their response.
"Mr.,
Mr. Is no longer with the company.in response to your request to be called, you were called by a member of our upper management team. During that conversation you were apprised of your options.
Upper management find your comment of today threatening, hostile and makes you appear as a terrorist; therefore we shall exercise our right to refuse service and refund your deposit. Be advised any further acts of terrorism, hostility or threats shall be immediately forwarded to the proper law enforcement agency. General Car Leasing"
At no point have I been hostile. This company is laughably pathetic. I will do everything in my power to ensure they don't get away with ripping people off like this.
