I got a letter like this a few years ago and put the check in the bank only that check was for $17,000. I left it in an account and 3 or 4 weeks later it came back and bounced and I was charged fees for depositing a bad check. Worse yet by writing my bank account and information on the back of the check these people were able to open accounts in my name and buy $1000's of $ worth of stuff overseas and in the US.

This time I did not cash the check but want others to beware of what can happen with this type of check. They do not answer their phone at either number they have given me and when I search the internet for them I find them listed here.
