Most puppy mills adverstise their AKC dogs, however, the AKC does not inspect the kennels of breeders who register many litters per year, nor to they raise an eyebrow to kennels breeding multiple breeds of dogs. Why is this??? Would it cut too much into their own revenue? They have the means to know who the suspected puppy mills are yet turn their back. This organization seems to be a farce. I have contacted them with blatant proof of a kennel advertising a blue eyed Malamute puppy (which does not exist in a pure bred). The kennel also breeds Siberian Huskies. They appear to be a puppy mill, yet the AKC still has not inspected them or done any DNA testing. If the AKC had any integrity at all in following their mission statement, they would investigate and revoke registration rights to these kennels.
