Bought a cell phone wallet from a local Giant Eagle and not even 24 hours later the strap broke, the wallet fell about 4 feet to the ground and broke my cell phone. When I got home I called the number from their website since there was no paper work inside the box. I was redirected to 800-430-0475, when I got someone on the phone I was told there was nothing that could be done since I did not purchase it from them. I said to the woman on the other end of the phone that it did not make sense since it was their product and not Giant Eagle's, so she took my info and said that a supervisor would call me back. That was Monday 11/23/09 so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited till this morning for a call back when I did not get it I called again. I told the man at the end of the line that it broke and broke my phone and he told me there was nothing that they could do just as the woman did, when I asked to talked to a supervisor he refused! Told me that when Giant Eagle bought it from their wholesaler they did not purchase the added warranty so their customers would be covered by Buxton Bags.
