Took my deposit and provided NO SERVICE

I signed up on the internet for telephone service for my home fax line. I NEVER heard from the company (dpi teleconnect) and NEVER had any service connected. And now they send me a second month bill and say if I don't pay it immediately they will cancel my service.

My husband then contacted dpi via the internet (where we had ordered the service) and was told to call an 800 number. We tried that and were put on hold three different times (calls) for 30 to 45 minutes.

Finally, the copany called us to tell us that they were keeping our deposit because the service had been activated. We do not have their service and they continue to keep our deposit of $62.96.

Obviously we do not want service from liars and crooks, we just want our deposit refunded to the credit card that it was charged on.

To be clear— we were NEVER contacted by any one, no service has been installed and the company now claims they are keeping our deposit.
