I am writing this as a warning to all companies who are considering hiring Michael W. Johnson & Associates, or DBA Michael W. Johnson, for marketing, graphic design, web design, or PR needs. Michael is a con-artist and a liar. He required us to pay upfront for our marketing project, which he did not finish and refused to give us a refund. Our partially completed website was had numerous problems, and we ended up having to redo the entire website. He also reportedly does not pay his subcontractors for work that they do for him. He has conned several other companies that I know of. He owes our company over $7,000 for work that he did not complete. Our company filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. I hope that this will keep other companies from making the mistake of hiring him. It was an expensive mistake for us!
