On 11/24 a guy by the name of Michael Johnson began contacting me. He said he is an A&R with Ash Records. He tells you of an audtion that the label is holding and he invites you to it. But first he wants a link to your demo. After receiving the link he says he loves your music and he wants to sign you to a 1link year trial contract. He says that after you pay for a background check and letter of affidavit from his attorney Emily Swanson he will then send an airline ticket to fly you over to the UK. Now, he didn't get any money from me because his "attorney" told me to wire the money to some address in california which made me suspect it was a scam because she is allegedly in London as well. Michael Johnson is NOT an A&R with Ash International Records. He is a scam artist. Do not fall for his scams! Do not give him any money! If you get an email from this guy just ignore him...
