Easy Google Profit Scam an Unemployed man in Odessa Texas

Easy Google Profit gets you with a page that looks like a news paper. On the very top it reads, "National" and then on the bottom of that; "News Gazette" (with red letters).

It has a picture of a lady, (about 30yo Hispanic) holding her daughter (about 6yo) in her arms. Its got a head line that reads: Jobs: Is Working Online At Home The Next Gold Rush?

Then it goes on to claim that she gets paid $25 for every link she posts at Google and that she is making around $5,5oo now.

On the top left its got the logos after the words "As Seen On", CBS, AOL, CNN, MSNBC, USA TODAY. (I am being descriptive so you won't fall for it, please bear with me).

Then it gives you three steps to get started. The fist step being pay $1 for shipping of the Easy Google For Profit. Which was a lie because when you click on any of their links it takes you to a page that has a counter and they are charghing $1.95 or $1.99.

To me that is false advertisement. Anyways I went threw with it becasue the counter was going down and there was "limited numbers of slots".

Hold on it gets worse. Then after you are trying to type your credit card info and all that the page freezes (intentionally I believe) not letting you read the privacy and terms and conditions page.

After you paid the $1.95 or so everything goes back to normal, and there is a welcome page. It has a screen name and a password. I went back to the first page so I could read the privacy and terms and conditions as I always do.

Surprise surprise! The reason why their page was so hard to load so you wouldn't read the terms and conditions and the privacy is because they have $59.84 monthly Trojan horse that will be deducted after 3 days.

Then after 10 or this they have a $29.71 charge "should you choose not to cancel", the say. How in the heck are you going to cancel if you can't even read the terms and conditions to read what I just mentioned?

Then they give an 888 number that I tried to call but no answer since is the weekend. But if you look around on the search engines you will find that the number is always busy or that there is no answer for what I read in different posts.

Well they got my $1.95 or so, but I went ahead and call my bank and told them the situation and explained that I wanted to cancel that account and to start me on a new one so they won't touch my money. And he said it would work.

That they only money they were going to get was the $1.95 and no more after that since the account will be closed. I am telling you in case that you are on a similar situation. Worry about the creditors later.

You can always give them your new account number at a later time. But for now the most important thing is to call where you report your cards lost or stolen and explain what happened. And don't beg, YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER.

Be polite as always, and tell them cancel that account and give me a new one. It's that simple. I am saying this cause I hear people say, " I got riped off and they keep charging me and charging me". Close the account!

And then call the companies you do business with that deduct from your account. And give them the new account. That's it.

Yes, if there is a class action against this company I would gladly participate so a lawyer can make a lot of money.

I mean, come on let's be honest. Are pepole that got ripped off by this company going to get all their money back? Of course not! They are allowed to do this.

Some of you may think. Why is he crying about a stupid $1.95 I'll give it to him so he can shut up! It is not about the money, it's about the principal. And the "Fact" that they collect all your information. Credit cards, names, addresses, emails, gender, social security numbers, drivers license, phone numbers etc. All that in one transaction.

They can almost pin point your house and see you from satellite on Google earth and the other that shows your house from the street side. They could go and shoot you if they want to. It's up to them. Who is going to stop them? The laws? Ha, Ha! The Judges? Double Ha, ha! They have no power any more. Not against them!

Thank you all. I hope you don't fall victim to this scams or any other scams. They laws of the United States make it very easy to pray on us and very difficult for us to do something about it. They are on their side. They best we can do is warn each other.

It does not take that long to write this. Thanks to people like you that have posted here I have not fallen victim to other scams. I was just not aware of this scam.

The sad part is that I am unemployed like many of you are. And just trying to find a way to support ourselves in a dissent and honest manner. Some of you are Senior citizens, or single moms or dad. Some of you are disable. But they don't care.

About 2 months ago, people gave us food to eat (me and my roommate) because we had none. We got laid off and it takes time for the insurance to process. Do this people even think about stuff like this? Probably not. But you do!

I hope anything here written can help you. God bless you and don't throw away food.
