Selling Lyrics.com Reputable?
Well good thing is, is that the Admin of Selling Lyrics.com has managed to at least keep the site above water for over a year now of course with the help of a diligent member who recently left Selling Lyrics due to fraudulent contests, broken promises and non~ payment for services.
Yes, I have to admit that Selling Lyrics is a good place to showcase your work for free but, thats about it although they swear that A&R Reps are cruising the site daily looking for new talent. I ask you, when have you ever heard of a reputable label wasting their time on searching the Internet for new talent?
Sure, Selling Lyrics, com is a good idea but the sites looking shabby since the Admins right hand lady left the scene although I was happy to come across a video promoting the site, I was sorely disappointed after watching this unbelievable misleading track entitled:

Ninja Freaks, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas ect, it seems to me theyre all being used as bait in promoting SellingLyrics.com. Nice work on the video though.
Misc. Banners of sites that arent even promoting SL have been placed on pages to fill in empty spaces.

Their Hot News & Most Popular spots have been empty for months now.
Most of the links on the site are broken leading nowhere and I dare you to click on the Help Link (one of the most vital links to any website) or perhaps you could just email the Admin directly and wait quite some time for a response.
Lyrics are said to be approved within 24 hours but though research approval can take anywhere from 1~4 days sometimes even longer.
When asked of what she thought about Selling Lyrics.com and its Admin, the once right hand lady of SL had this to say:
I really loved the idea of Selling Lyrics and still believe it can work but, as far as the Admin goes, I found out recently just how childish, uncaring and self-centered he really is. He had asked me to help him run Selling Lyrics after it had been up for a few days as my job history had attracted his attention. I am an Editor/Ghostwriter and excepted his offer of payment at a later date.
I took care of SL for over a year building up their MySpace pages, promoting the site and querying various places for sponsorship. I have answered each and every email received especially F.A.Q. As the help link has never been in operation.
At one time I had put up a Chat Forum, F.A.Q. Section and a Member Top Ten list which was done weekly to bi weekly then eventually monthly in order to give the chosen more time for exposure on the Community page. I saw it only fair to remove all I had done when I left.
In exchange for my many hours of service, the Admin let me promote my Editing Services (which I feel was the least he could do being as I know that others get paid good money for doing what I did for free & for 18 months but, I never complained to him)
I have been extremely ill and felt no reason to announce it to him nor produce a resignation of any kind as he had been informed 2 months prior by a family member that I was unable to correspond as well as work for him anymore... Recently, I received an email from him and was appalled at his response to mine.

I am writing this email in regards to Selling Lyrics. You were a great asset to the community but it seems that you have profited from Selling Lyrics by promoting your editing business and then at the same time leaving without actually telling me.
Now I have had people accusing me of not paying a certain "MATT K*G"?
He was offered the prize and he did not have Paypal so the competition expired and the winnings were donated to the running of the website.
I wish you could have done more to communicate with me on this rather than profiting from your writing services and using my site as a portal.
I feel let down, disgusted and a sour taste in my mouth.
You seem to have spent the first few months doing your research on me on my "products" that I was launching on the Internet and then you had no discussions with me in regards to what your real intentions were..
Can you please inform * or * not to keep spamming my website under false accounts otherwise I have not choice but to proceed with legal action.

Hope this finds you in good health also, I on the other hand have been gravely ill but see no need in going into detail at this time, let's just say that it seems as if I have 9 lives.
In my situation, I had no choice but to leave and saw no reason for resignation being as I was under a voluntary status but, I am sorry if it left you in a bind.
I'm still pondering though as to why you think I have profited" off SL? I haven't at all, as a matter of fact, I was editing for free only to members of SL.
As far as Matt K*g goes, yes, I believe that he could've been paid by some other means like a check or money order perhaps as this would have greatly increased your word of honor. He could've sued SL for fraudulent contests. If people are accusing you, they are doing so on their own, I have enough to deal with right now than to be gathering up some Internet mob to harass you, you should know me better than that *mra*.
SL has been up for over a year now and I put in many hours "free" for you cause I believed in you and trusted the fact that payment would eventually begin. People get paid good money for doing what I did for you (you're welcome) and knowing you did not have the finances, I never pressured you into any type of contract to receive payment but, rather stuck with you because I believed SL could go far in the industry.
I'm sorry you feel as if I've "used" you somehow and haven't a clue as to why you think I had diabolical intentions when I accepted your offer to help edit SL, actually, that part made me giggle a bit. I have enough clientle through MySpace and locally that I have had to turn down numerous projects (also due to illness)
I have no control over what members are doing on SL anymore, as far as I heard, * was pissed when you deleted Teige's account before he could get his work copied. There are many members at SL running with numerous accounts and I heard about * proving how easy it is to do and fall for something that's not real. At one time, I pretty much had most of those accounts cleared up and that was due to many "long hours" of watching the site and investigating.
You need to
~get an isp tracker to philsh out multiple account users,
~get rid of all delinquent accounts especially with no photos (or add a default photo) just for looks cause it looks horrible to have all these grey faces.
~Several links still need fixed and
~the old forum needs brought back because it would keep the garbage that's being posted off the community page, that's where all the conflicts are started plus,
~using the category system that I was doing insures that all users will see the posts.
You have a good thing going but, please don't write and accuse me things that I have nothing to do with, I've got bigger problems to deal with and perhaps little time, we shall see.

I'm sorry but, his email begins with "Hello, I hope you are well and ok"
(Perhaps a lure so I would read on?) I have no idea why he'd think I profited from his site after all it was the least he could do to let me promote a little after all the promoting I did for Selling Lyrics when I could have been spending quality time with family or writing more.
As far as the contest money goes, it was his money to begin with but, he claims that it was "donated" to Selling Lyrics, why not just say "I kept it because I didn't want to own up to my promise.
Yes, of course I did research on him, after all, I would be working side by side with him (well, not technically, hes in the UK & Im in the US.) and wanted to make sure that Selling Lyrics was legit. I however never researched his "products" but was sent numerous emails from Nasio (hes web nick) promoting them so maybe those "intentions" he's speaking of would be my intention to delete and block all those emails? Idk (sigh)
Whom ever is so called spamming SL, please stop for Nasios sake and mine although, I did catch a few that were only telling the truth and venting their frustrations with Selling Lyrics & the Admin as Nasio has a bad habit of not responding to questions or confrontations to well as you can clearly see from the email replies. This is also a task that the Admin should be able to accomplish in a professional manner, after all, he owns the site and hopefully would not want to get a bad reputation.

All's it take is learning how to "code" to fix the site, ward off delinquent accounts and stop spammers, you know "DIY" and a little extra time. Personally, I would have learned all that before attempting to run a public website. I have actually died 3 times and was brought back thankfully but, SL's obviously more important than a once upon a time friend that went out of her way to keep SellingLyrics on its feet, so sad...

I did my part I believe and came through with every promise I made to SL except for the Selling Lyrics Book because if Nasio's not going to make the site better (like it was promised for over a year and is still being promised) then I see no reason for me to put my money forward for a book to help in promoting a seriously unstable website run by someone whos nothing but an uncaring, self-centered bigot.

Well, that just says it all right there, I would never wish death upon him and it goes to show you that all those precious words he said after Tommy's death on SL were completely meaningless, what a horrible person you have become Nasio, or whatever you call yourself...
I came across Nasios recent proud post of over 3000 members but, I know for a fact that a more realistic number of around 1500 is correct due to all the multiple accounts as well as the dead ones. Its mostly smoke and mirrors sad to say.
Im sorry people but, I couldnt just let this go, stay on at SL if you wish but, I thought youd all like to know the person thats running your site, the person that youre supporting and it is your site because without you, there would be no Selling Lyrics.
