I purchased a new walk behind mower on May 3 from a suburban Chicago Sears store and used it twice. Each time it worked well.

On May 16, after several attempts, it would not start. I called the store and spoke with someone in lawn and garden who told me to bring it to the store, they would replace it. Drove to the store, an employee tried to start it; wouldn't start. He found a manager who said it would need to be inspected by someone from a Sear's service center but wouldn't be picked up until May 20 and would likely take two weeks before they would have an answer.

I asked about the closest service center, was given the location, about 15 miles into the city, and said I would take it there right away to speed up the process. Upon arriving at the service center, which was also an outlet store, I was informed that the service center isn't open weekends. Sears staff told me I would need to return after 9 am Monday.

I also discovered the price of my mower was had been reduced by $20.

Customer service, communication and product quality are horrible. I'm hoping to get the mower fixed, replaced or my money back.

The new mower I purchased is two weeks old and doesn't work. I get the run around and waste my time driving to the store and then the service center. The price has dropped. What is wrong with this picture?

I just want to cut my grass.in two weeks I'll need a baler.
