Owners/Officers Herb Hauser/Maia Aron and Dan Pfeffer leave employee wages, expenses and medical premiums unpaid.
Herb and Maia resign, Dan works at a new firm where integrity is their motto - none of their Bio's mention any relation, ownership or work history at Midtown Technologies LLC though they ran the company for about 4 or 5 years.
Employees sue company, obtain judgments and they remain unpaid as of 9/09. Company has refused to answer information subpoenas and did have to appear in front of a judge on an order to show cause to review contempt.
Bad faith strategies are executed to delay employee attempts to collect judgments.
Midtown's attorney offers $1.00 as a pretrial settlement for $4,800 due in wages and other expenses.
Owners state they do not control the company.
Owners set up new company, Midtown assets are assigned to the new company in attempt to evade creditors.
Be very careful when dealing with these individuals - get a personal guarantee in writing at the very least.
Many employees and vendors have been damaged. Statements made to the court that account receivables due to Midtown if collected were to be used to pay a certain ex-employee who is a judgment creditor - clients have stated that payments were made to Midtown - and the judgment creditor remains unpaid as do many many other creditors.
