I have wanted to write this for years, and after reading a rebuttal to Pam, I am inclined to finally do so.
Hurricane Express lies. It's that simple. Kaedon, Eddie, Sheldon, Kathy, and anyone else in this company you can come up with lie. That's right - I am talking to you Jason and Stephan!
They will work you several years or months or weeks, in any event... It all ends up the same. You are stranded, broke, and screwed.
They will decide you know too much about whatever it is they have going on behind closed doors... Money, drugs, or??? And drop you like used toilet paper.
They canceled a check of ours we had cashed a month prior and we bounced all kinds of stuff in our bank account. They canceled this check two weeks after we had quit, six weeks after it was issued. Kaedon, if you are reading this and want to rebuttal, go on and do it IN YOUR NAME, I can scan and show proof of all records to anyone. The jerks then never gave us another check. They owe us thousands, but they manufacture whatever paperwork they need, and pay off the courts to do their will. You cannot win. I have contacted OOIDA, the state attorney general, the police, the courts, etc. You can't win against their corruption. Even if you did manage to get a settlement, it will cost 1000's.
It's easier to spread the word and live your life.
Stay far far far away from these people. They destroy people's lives and their way of earning money for their family. Kaedon will blackball you on your DAC report.
The reason Pam does not name other drivers is for their own privacy and safety.
I could type for hours and barely scrape the surface of this company's evil ways. I will spare you.
Understand this please... They are greedy and will use you in any way they can find to do so. Anyone that questions the runs some of the other drivers have reported need to understand... They used to run loads east to west, a round a week. Usually there would be 5-20 drops on each stop, not to mention the same amount of pick-ups. Then the milage of 2500 a week, sometimes up to 4000 miles. Sure, that is drivable, but hard with all of the stops. You had to lump your own freight too. So, if you wanted to have the option of getting a return load, or being loaded AT ALL, you had to get the round done asap, or you would have no check, no truck payment made, and never ever catch up. Hurricane would take all kinds of charges out of your check, like for pagers, tire accounts, etc. We have all of our paperwork. But, when we turned our truck in to them, in mint condition, they claimed it all away. You will lose! Beware!
