Sent me a false check stating that I won money

I recieved a letter in the mail today and was looking at it and a check fell out. My heart was pounding thinking that I had actually won money. I am a mother of twin girls struggling and living with my parents. I thought wow awesome I just won alot of money.

I called the number on the letter and I spoke with a man named Terrance Brown who barely spoke english. I just laughed and called my dad to talk to him about it. Now I know why it says on the letter not to tell anyone and Terrance even told me to keep it to myself. I googled it and come to find out it was a fraud the whole time. I am so disappointed and upset because I really thought my life was going to turn around and finally go in the right direction.
