This individual is a rip-off. He listed a violin on Ebay, and then when he did not get the bid that he wanted, he had Ebay remove the item. He claimed it was because the listing was wrong. But he sent out a not to bidders what was wrong with the listing, and if we wanted to retract our bid, we could. I chose not to. Well, Ebay let him remove it, and then when I looked again, he had added a price, or a buy it now price of $395.00, which was not there the first time.
Ebay has done this to me on several occasions. When I wrote the guy telling him this was not fair. That is why they put a RESERVE on there to use, he got smart, and said he would not let me bid on any more of his items. I just wanted to report that this guy is a crook, and so is Ebay for letting him do this. If he will do this on Ebay, he will do it in person. Beware! Do not buy from rooftop fiddler fine violins or fine-violin-express on ebay.
