This is an email job offer/business opportunity scam. These people will tell you they viewed your Resume on a major recruiting website, offer you a job position, offer you a great amount of money, and as a result you are out of finances. This happened to me. They are really convincing I will admit. They have an actual, "what seems to be", real business website with a fake business license, merchandise and all. Do not let not having a job make you more naive. Do your research. I saw some gaps but thought hey they have a business license what could go wrong? And wrong I was!
These people had an application typed up and an independent contractor agreement. Their first step is to make you feel you are their best candidate for the job. They tell you they have to do a background check through their HR Department but first have to fill out an employment application and agreement, telling you to hurry cause the info. Is time sensitive. They wait a couple of days to make it seem they are doing a thorough check. Immediately following, they congratulate you on receiving the position. You are reminded the steps in the agreement. Your job requires receiving money (in the form of a check) from a so-called client, depositing the money into your personal or business account, wait till the check clears, you keep a %, then transfer the money to a foreign country via Western Union. The next day the check is returned to you, thus overdrawing your account. I may never get my money back but have reported this on many websites. Like i said before do your research. Google the address and call the number. Find out as much as you can on a company. Ask questions that only a company might know. Don't be another victim.
