I worked for months to establish an online store with Amazon. It talks hours of work, and considerable expense to successfully sell online. I found the excessive fee's cruel, and oppressive. They continually tried to sell me services that would have ruined any profits I realized. Stay away from this horrible company. Soon, my order rate slowed, and I was hit with negative feedback without warning from the customer. I found competitors online routinely buy from each other then blast sites with horrible feedback.
The first indication you will get is a negative rating along with horrible false comments that slander your organization. Amazon will respond by closing your account without mercy, or delay. There is no way to make any restitution with Amazon. They do not have a process to deal with any Sellers problems they think are excessive. Months of long work, late evenings, and dedication were thrown away by an automated email. I tried to appeal, and was only told that If I ever tried to sell on Amazon again under a different name, I would be closed again without warning. This company would make a great Eastern Block government office. They deal with an iron fist behind an iron curtain.
