Suntrup hyundai sold us a hail damaged car wthout disclosing it to us

Suntrup Hyundai in South County, St. Louis, MO sold my husband and I a car that was hail damaged and they did not disclose this to us nor did this damage show up on the car fax. The dealership told us they were not required to disclose the hail damage to anyone. When we tried to get this situation rectified, we were treated very rudely. This type of treatment left us in total shock. How can a dealership sell hail damaged vehicles, not disclose it and then treat the customer like dirt when they attempt to rectify the situation?

While trying to rectify our siutaiton, my husband and I never lost our cool, and never acted rudely to a sales person or management at Suntrup Hyundai. But yet we were treated incredibly rudeand we were actually asked to leave the dealership. When we requested to talk to the general manager or Mr. Suntrup, we were told, there was no general manager and talking to Mr. Suntrup will never happen.

Later in this scenario, the facts slipped out of one salesperson's mouth that Suntrup Hyundai had purchased a truckload of hail damaged cars which proved to my husband and I that the sales people were aware of the hail damage before selling this car to us Unfortunately, our 12 year old daughter witnessed this entire transaction which was very traumatic for her - we were all very upset. Is this the type of customer satisfaction that Suntrup Hyundai advertises?

The car we purchased is silver in color and one cannot see the hail damage unless one looks at a certain angle. We did not know the vehicle was hail damaged when we purchased it. We relied solely on the dealership to lead us in an ethical and professional manner in the purchase of our new vehicle.

A couple days after purchasing the car, we waxed it. During this time, we could not believethe car was hail damaged. The more we looked, the more we saw the damage. When I contacted the dealership about his situation, they made an appointment to talk to us. When my husband and I arrived at the appointment, the manager could not talk to us because he was sick and had to go to the emergency room.

After a long wait, we finally got to speak to someone. While speaking with this person several other sales people were brought into our room one by one. Each person was more rude than the other no one showed any empathy.in short they told us that they did not have to disclose the hail damage to us and now it was our problem.

When I said the words we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way one gentleman got up from the desk and yelled directly at us stating I was threatening him and we were to be removed from the dealership! We just sat there in total shock.

How can a dealership withhold information from customers and then treat them like criminals when they return to the dealership in an attempt to rectify the problem? Unfortunately, the story goes downhill from hereit gets worse. I just wanted to warn everyone not to purchase any vehicle from Suntrup Hyundai.
