On 07/01 I entered in agreement with Allegro Law, regarding a debt consolidation.
The contract stated that I can cancel it within 10 days. (Please note: the sales person I spoke with Edward is located in state of California)
Right away on the next day 07/02 in the morning I called Allegro Law office in AL and after I told the lady, that I would like to cancel immediately my agreement, because I didn't realize the fee ($354.00) until I actually received the contract thru e-mail and was advised from financial councilor that entering this agreement was wrong and a lot more expensive, she answered that the case wasn't processed yet and I have to call the sales person Edward and he can do that for me. Edward didn't quite explained about the $354.00 and according to their rules one has to have a minimum of $12.000 in debts in order to enter the program, I entered with $7.000, that's why all these fees weren't worth it.
I called and I left message, he got back to me and hung up twice on me after I politely with a good manner asked him to stop all process (he said that it was the easiest thing to do)
I called a third time and after unsuccessfully trying to get a manager on the lane, I left a message for Adam (manager) who never called me back, so after all the phone calls and the final reaction of the sales person Edward I assumed that everything will be disregarded.
Please notice if I would of stay with this agreement withdrawing the fee should of occurred on the 07/06 which is stated in the contract as of 07/04 (but because of the holidays it will occur on the next business day after this date) I assumed that everything is canceled. On 07/21 this transaction occurred, almost 20 days after the contract was signed and supposed to be canceled. They purposely delayed and ignored me so Allegro Law can benefit from my funds.
According to the BBB I followed the advise to call Allegro Law and try to resolve the problem. After I spoke with Ernaldo from the processing center (ext. 102) I was assured that everything will be fixed and there was misunderstanding my funds will be back in my account by 07/29. This never happened.
And again they delayed everything.
Yes very good lawyers, I am 100% sure if anybody commit a crime, they will be the best to ask for defense. After all good people never win.
