We bought two 2-bed apartments off plan in Bodrum, Turkey from MRI. We were bullied into buying a furniture pack for one of them for 10,000 euros with no air-con! The quality of the furniture is rubbish to put it mildly. They said we had to have their furniture pack to meet the requirements of their 'leading rental partners'.in 2 years, they have generated zero rentals.
We paid 1000 euros as a deposit against breakages during rentals. As they hadn't generated any rentals, we gave 90 days notice to terminate our rental agreement with them. 2 weeks before they are due to refund our deposit, they say they are going to deduct 350 euros, yes 35%, to cover their set up costs. This is outrageous.
This is the final straw. This company should not be allowed to stay in business.
