I spent $60 on the Maui bracelet from Premier Designs, Inc.in the catalog this is a very beautiful piece with faux pearls/beads/genuine mother-of-pearl & shells with gold plate. The gold plate gave me pause, but everything from this company is fake gold of some sort. I was given a gift certificate for about a third of the price of this bracelet, and honestly I thought for $60 this should be a decent bracelet.
This bracelet literally fell apart within a few weeks. I returned it and what I received as a replacement was a joke. I'm pretty sure I now own somebody else's reject bracelet. This replacement bracelet not only also fell apart, the "gold plate" is so discolored it's pathetic looking. Even if I thought there might be a way, I couldn't attempt to clean it because where it's tarnished and discolored is where it falls apart! I can't even wear this piece of junk now. $60 down the drain. I've purchased $10 bracelets from Target and the like that are better quality than this piece of junk.
I've been laid off like many others and dealing with this economy like most everyone else, and then I've got some company selling me junk. Are you kidding me? Shame on you Premier Designs. Also, Premier Designs, Inc does have what they call a Golden Guarantee. Where's my guarantee that my time and money are not being wasted on junk jewelry?
