Hello, I'm just writing to let potential applicants know how AH Toyota operates when "hiring" their salespeople. The interview seemed normal enough and 22 people showed up to the training class the following day. We were told we were there because we were the best interviewees out of about 100. The class started out normal and it seemed that we were all on our way to making pretty good money selling a good brand. Then came the kicker... Just to inform you, the training supervisor/interviewer told us there would be a small/refundable tuition involved that was partly payed by Al Hendrickson. Now, it was only refundable IF we ended up working for AH Toyota which "there were no guarantees". The tuition was going to be $599.99 for the 3 & 3/4 day class, reduced to "only $299.99" with the Al Hendrickson deal!"OK", I thought. "Maybe this is something that can be worked out when we start working for AH Toyota and they take it out of our paychecks?" NOPE! They wanted the money the NEXT DAY!
Who in their right mind expects people looking for employment to come up with $300.00??? Needless to say I and 22 others were completely hurt and insulted by this! AH Toyota deserves to be fined for this and for anybody looking for employment otherwise DO NOT USE CAREERBUILDER.com!!! That's another Rip-Off for another day! Seems like they only want to enroll you in cla$es disguised as "jobs"! I am completely disgusted by this practice as I am already investing my time and travel to be present for training!
