I went to trade in my 92 Saturn for a new Corolla back in 2001... I had done some research regarding the prices of Corolla's, including research on the Toyota website. (http://www.toyota.com)
I had printed out their calculation of what I should be paying for my lease I wanted... Which was about $240 or so for a five year lease.
I printed it out, and showed them, telling them that is what I wanted.
They come up with all these excuses, saying that that Toyota site is not legal, it is fraudulent... BULL CRAP! It is the official Toyota website! I can't believe the manager actually tried to pull something like that on me!
Secondly, they started coming up with payments like $450 a month for a LEASE ON A COROLLA! This Corolla was only $14k!
Needless to say, I worked it down and got the Corolla for quite a bit less, but for them to start so high really insulted me.
I just bought a new truck from Larry Miller priced at $21k and my payments aren't NEAR $450!!
Never go to bell road toyota because they are sleazebags that will screw you without asking you to take your pants off first!
