This is my second post after SWAT Fleet agreed that if I removed the first they would settle for an agreed amount. I removed the previous (Case # 44061335 copy available) and have not heard nor seen any settlement since not any further correspondence. I am re-posting a NEW complaint so others will beware of the dealings with them.
Purchase Date 3/26:
After multiple conversations with the Dan the salesman I felt confident the trailer which I first saw on eBay (listing saved) was ready to be put to work as described although purchased after auction was completed. After payment was wired to bank account we agreed upon a delivery location. Upon meeting with the delivery truck I walked around and spoke with the person onsite and he agreed to deliver a message to Dan that the trailer was NOT as described and he (Steve I believe) would see him within the next 2 hours at the auction and pass it on.
Upon veiwing the trailer I found:
The Tires on the trailer are near BALD, 6 out of 8 are NOT DOT acceptable. The repairs to the undercarriage were NOT made as I was informed they were (Blown tire bent floor rail/supports). There were other issues (lighting broken or missing) which I will forgo as buying something as promised and unseen there are always issues.
After removing my first complaint through usacomplaints. Coms and the BBB I was told by Mike at SWAT that he actually pulled this trailer on loads and the issues I am complaining about were not viable. I sent pictures of the tires and the agreed rebate was NEVER SENT. I was not happy with the resolution however, something is better than nothing. Well NOTHING is what I got from them.
I don't expect any further communication and if you are reading this you will see other complaints just as frustrating as mine. Buyer Beware!
