There ads circulating on the internet about a "A (local city near you) Mom's Trick to Whiter teeth." It claims she is an ordinary, Mom who has discovered a "clever" way of combining two whitening offers from 2 different companies. The current ads lists different company names than the ones in my case. The ads claims that you only pay a few dollars in shipping charges, but the "mice type" (well hidden) commits you to a monthly membership.
You will be hit with charges to your credit card within a few days. The amounts vary a bit (based on my online searches) but I was charged $86.22, $88.97 and $9.99. I am fortunate to have a USAA MasterCard account & they are helping by reversing charges & I am returning all merchandise with a tracking receipt, or refusing delivery (kept a copy of marked up mailing label).
Judging from my credit card issuer's prior knowledge and e-mail forums, this is a very large nationwide scam.
